Uvb 10.0

HI! My name is Oliver. I am very new to the chameleon forums and community. I purchased a 2 month old Veiled, I will work my absolutely hardest to ensure this little guy, (Carmeleon) AKA. (Cammo) will be the happiest (bossest) cham. He is getting here Tuesday morning and I have his tank all setup besides for the plant which I will be buying today. I am buying a plant that is on the approved list and have 2 of the 3 powders for him, all I need is the Multivitamin which I will also be buying today. I bought a UVB 10.0 instead of 5.0, I have a 24x24x36 mesh cage with door, should I elevate the long light about 4 inches from what i've heard? THANKS!

You should be ok with 10.0 but if you want to be safe. Take a pc of screen and add it, so that the light has to go through 2 layers of screen that will dumb it down to a safe level and in a few months as the bulb wears out you can remove the screen.
A UVB meter will make life alot easier.
