dodolah Retired Moderator Apr 8, 2008 #2 it's bad for a completely different reason: UVA produces heat. so, multiple sources of heat will raise the temp considerably. multiple source of UVB can raise the risk of getting too much radiation AKA sun burn. only use uva lamp(s) enough to keep your chameleon in his comfortable temp range.
