Hi! what kinds of light would you recomend? i already have a 40w day light and another one of the night. I read that they need UV and warm lights is that true?
No light is needed at night. Temp at the basking branch should be around the low 80s for a young chameleon. A normal house bulb will be fine as a basking bulb. Adjust the wattage of the bulb to reach the desired temp at the basking spot.
