Using linear Reptisun 5.0 CFL 26w compacts in a canopy x 2, not a dome

Hey peoples: Had a question about using these lights for my female panther cages. I purchased 4 Exo Terra Nano canopies which are 8" wide and putting 2 of them next to each other widthwise across the top of the L reptibreeze cages (18x18x36). I felt that this would be better than using the dome lighting and also by using 2 of these, I can get a better range of lighting for them since I can't seem to find a 16" T5 bulb or canopy at a decent price to fit the large cage.

Please let me know what you think.
