I did some upgrades, just looking for some feed back. Did this a awhile ago but just posting it now. I taped a square off for streanth in case of cracking and drilled a 1inch hole with a 1inch dimound bit. Keep your drill straght up and down and go very slow. it took me almost 2hrs to drill through 1/4 inch glass. Then I drilled a hole through the wood stand I had.

I should state first that I attached a reptibrez cage to a exo terra cage to make a larger half mesh half glass cage

Then I made a basin out of ply wood and painted it black and coverd it with rock vynal and coated it with hydyogloss (its like epoxy). and attached a 1inch pipe to it and waterproofed the conection with silacon. placed it in the bottom of the tank and siliconed the edges to water proof. I placed the pipe through the hole in the glass and the hole through the wood so the pipe stuck out of the bottom enough to attach mo pipe later.

I also used a foam rock backing and modified it. I used spray foam to attach two plant pots and some grape vine and painted it brown and coated it with white glue and spead some plantation soil on it to give it textur and coated it with hydrogloss (its like epoxy) its inert when dry and waterproof did the basin with it too. then I placed it in the back.
