Upgrade Enclosure Jackson Pair

I’ve had my pair of jackson for about a year and they’re enclosure started out as the reptibreeze 18 x 18 x 30. They were overdue for an upgrade so I got the reptibreeze 24 x 24 x 48. It consists of live and artificial plants. Let me know what any suggestions might be. I have the reptirain system as well as a dripper. First picture is the old setup. And the rest is of their new setup

I’d say no substrate and use a tube Reptisun of the appropriate UVB for your chameleon. Other then that looks good maybe a hanging pothos? I know Jackson’s love their water and humidity! Let’s see what more experienced members say.

I plan on getting the ZooMed LED UVB 24” fixture here pretty soon. Any reason for no substrate?

They should have more foliage, what are the temps? It is recommended to house them separately.

Just put in my temp and humidity gauge, I’ll see what the readings are here soon. I bought them as a pair and they were shipped together too. Since I’ve had them they have always been together and have never shown signs of aggression towards each other. What is the main reason for housing them seperatey?

They can ingest them and can cause impaction and a plethera of problema. Also not housing together because it does stress and at times they may compete for food. They should always be separate someone else should tune in with more detail

Hey there. New Jackson's owner here. How big have your guys gotten ? I couldnt get an exact age of mine but think he's around 4 months. He's about 6 inches long when his tail is rolled up.

Update. I am working on removing the substrate and I have added a hanging plant and some more artificial plants, and one more vine. Humidity is holding around 75% throughout the day. My reptirain goes off every 3 hours for 15 seconds and I have a dripper.

Also, I used to have saltwater fish tanks and I have a light leftover. Would this work okay for my setup?

get rid off the waterfall. it will end up in moun roth, put more living plans and have a Cage for each one of them (Y)

What is moun roth? Right now I have 5 living plants, is that not enough? Any input on the light pictured above?

That light is ok for your plants, but won’t provide any UVB which your chameleons require. Many options out there, linear T5 bulbs are the best. Also, separate those two. Your cage is far too small to house them communally.

I was thinking I could install two T5 5.0 reptisun bulbs in this hood. Two regular T5 and two of the uvb. Thoughts?

Yes I am. Sorry for not mentioning so, been getting things together to set up the old cage for the male, 18 x 18 x 30. I’m picking up plants tomorrow and just trying to figure out the light. Gonna pick up a linear T5 5.0 and put it in the hood (mentioned a few posts ago) and put this on the new cage and the one on the big cage now on the smaller one, if that makes sense, lol.
