Update on Vinny

Those of you following my little rescue Vinny I have some news. I let him mate with a passive lady, a 1 1/2 year old virgin. Well she laid 68 eggs last night! They were a little smaller then the clutches that only have 36 eggs, but they all looked white, nicely shaped and pretty great! I'm hoping for a 100% hatch rate (like always), lol. Good job Vinny.

That is wonderful to let Vinny still be a man. You know that made him happy and he deserves that happiness and now he may be a dad. Great job.

Just to let you know, this is probably the only clutch for the both of them. 68 eggs is pretty hard on the female and she will need a lot of nutrition to make up for all that calcium lost. I will also have to see how these eggs hatch to make sure Vinny's sperm is healthy. In the mean time they are marvelous little pets to have in my chamily.
