update on galileo

so heres his new home its got a auto mister in back heat lamp keeps it at about 85-87 degrees started a feeding cup with mealworms which he seems to like. and ofcourse dusted and crickets newer at this so feedback would be appreciated galileo is finally getting some blue (nosy be) heres an older pic before color as well[/ATTACH]

Please get that inferno off the top of the cage. No way is that bulb only emitting 87 degree temps. That is a burn ready to happen.

Edit: A Regular house bulb will do the trick. Depending on your rooms ambients. It usually would vary between a 40 watt and 60 watt.

should i unmount the light i have it above the cage attached to wall so it doesnt touch to avoid burns thats probably why it looks so bright and then go with a smaller bulb?
 
If it's not touching and you have thermometer probe near it and temps are ok then it's fine.
 
Its not in all about the smaller bulb. Its the red cast and it looks like a flood or spot heat bulb.

A regular house bulb 40 or 60 watt put in the fixture as it sits. If the temps are within range it will be ok where it is.
