UPDATE: Lombardi the Male Veiled!

Well Lombardi got promoted to Avatar...:) So I figured I would post some of this weeks update pics.

He has gotten rediculously calm around us. When we go in his cage, or enter the room, he does not show the slightest bit of discomfort... And now that I think about it I have never witnessed any kind of pissy behaviour from him at all... ever... not a single hiss! :) :D He sits high on his perch dominating his 4x2x2 cage, and just stares down at us, and observes our behaviour all day... I am beggining to think that he believes we are his pets. :p Also... he now knows where his GF's cage is located, so he begs us to open the cage and if we do he tries to get down to her. I really can't express what a cool cham this guy has turned out to be. At 5 months he is one of the most gorgeous Veileds I have ever seen... and VERY BIG for his age. His health and size along with his unussually freindly attitude makes him a very rewarding cham to care for. He has started slowing down on how much he eats, and is at about 1 adult Dubia a day, and some gutloaded supers on the side. He is now over 100 Grams!!!

Here are some new pics... and I have one at home where he showed some amazing colors... but I will have to post that later.

I was having a perfectly crappy day at work and then saw this thread! i just smiled like an idiot! :)

Aren't veileds grand! Sometimes they can be pissy but they have such personalities.

I agree. Male Veileds have great stamina. And bold good looks, and such a well balanced physique. And, boy, can they strike a pose! Go, Lombardi!

I agree 100%!:)

That's not not the smile of an idiot... That is the smile of a proud Chameleon Breeder... You worked hard on these babies... and I couldn't be happier with your work!:D Thanks Juli!

Update time

Welp... It's been a while since I updated this thread. I will start off topic...I have not had the opportunity to be around on the forums to much as of late. I was layed off from my 4 year Desk job three weeks ago... And have started working as a project supervisor doing construction for the architecture/contracting company my dad owns... Hours are longer...and of course I am no where near a computer... But things are working out great and I am loving the job. I have been doing demo and putting up dry wall for three weeks, and I think my body is finally getting used to the hard work.

Now for Lombardi... In case you missed the thread from a few weeks back of the mating you should Check this link...:D.

As I type this I am listening to his lady Sookie scrape the bottom of her laying bin...:D. It has been 23 days since the mating and she looked huge last night.

Lombardi's Sex Tape!

My scale is malfunctioning so I haven't got a weight on him in a while...But he is now 7 months... and MASSIVE... still growing. He has shed about twice a month. I am beginning to think he may need a bigger cage than his 4x2x2 alum screen cage. He has to be at least 7 or 8 inches snout to vent... will get a solid measurement later... But I wanted to get an updated fired up shot... He is on my arm so you can get an idea of size.

Pneumonia, that's no fun I hope you get better real soon!

Lombardi is huge!! Dante weighed in close to 140g last week and Lombardi has to have at least 10 grams on him. My avatar pic is Dante fired up last week, talk about yellows and blues!! I can't wait to see some of Lombardi's babies!! These guys are just awesome!

Update Time!!!

It's about time for some updated pics of Lombardi... Once again this thread has documented just about every stage of his development. So you can go back to the first page and read through if your not familiar with my boy.

24 of the 40 eggs I had from his first clutch molded over rapidly, but the remaining eggs are gorgeous, I would be surprised to lose another one out of this clutch.

The camera is back and these pics are from just a few moments ago. Sorry for the dirty nails Chuck:p... I work construction.
