Unintentional BSF Bin

We have an extra trashbin in our backyard for weeds. We don't empty it very often and whaddya know, now it's a breeding ground for BSF!

We don't treat our backyard at all, as I let my chameleon our there sometimes in certain areas, so I could feed them to her if I really wanted to. Probably not since I have my own small bug colonies, but I thought it was fun!!

Also found a ton of woolly bear caterpillars in the bin too, which I saved a few to try and pupate inside for funsies. :)

I haven't actually seen the larvae, I only see the actual flies themselves. But they sure seem to match! I could get a more zoomed in pic tomorrow.
