I cannot find any light fixtures that would fit a 36 in, 30 watt reptisun 5.0. I have been all over the place (Lowes, Home Depot, several pet stores, target, etc.) and not one place has the proper light fixture. I cannot even find an online store that sells 36 in, 30w fixtures. I even went online to LLL reptile, but the light fixture they have for a 36 inch bulb is 48 inches . Why would zoo med create a bulb and not a fixture for it?. If anyone can link me a website with the proper fixture size, I would GREATLY appreciate it.

Cush, read the descriptions closer.

48" fluorescent hood fixture

size: 48"

These very sturdy hoods for fluorescent UV bulbs have a convenient power switch and are attractive as well! **FITS A 36" BULB**

Thats what I said? The fixtures for the 36 inch bulbs, are 48 inches. I don't want to buy a fixture thats a foot more in length then the size of my bulb.

LOL I like how Barely ANYONE read your 1st post!!!1

Wile that light is cheap, it doesn't have any kind of canopy covering the light, so if you get tired of the look of bare aluminum foil on top of your enclosure. This is probably the cheapest fully enclosed one you can find outside of a hardware store.
