Hello Chameleon hobbyists!

My name's Warren, but you can call me Warren.

I have no chameleons at the moment, but in the past, I've kept and bred Jacksons (C. jacksonii) and Four Horneds (C. quadricornis? I think).

I do, however, have about 50 tarantulas, along with some scorpions, centipedes, some fish, corn snakes and a pair of Red Eared Sliders. :)

I've been wanting to get back into chameleons, so I figured joining a forum would be good! (After all, joining a spider forum led to me getting all those invertebrates! lol)

So yeah. That's me. :D

Bah, most tarantulas are nothing to be afraid of, (I'll elaborate on that some other time) and no reported deaths have occured due to a tarantula's venom. They're like small 8 legged puppies that don't make noise, don't need a lot of space, don't cost a lot to feed, don't smell, and recquire minimal cleaning! :D

Anyway, I'm broke, so no chams for me yet, but once I save up a bit, I hope I can find an Ambilobe or Nosy Be (So expensive, though! All I've seen at shows was $250-$250 for a baby!)

One day..... one day.... :D

Thanks, she is one of my favorites. Took me a little while to figure out the scientific names of tarantulas, but you pretty much have to, as common names are useless when trying to ID them.

Welcome!
Great idea to join the forum in preparation for they day when you get a chameleon :)

That Poecilotheria Regalis is lovely.
Yeah, joining a forum is a great way to start or return to a hobby.

The Poecilotheria genus is my favorite. :) She laid an eggsac for me this summer and now that the babies are older, I am going to start a colony. (Some tarantulas can be kept communally)

No problem, I have a few species, and a few pics of them under a UV light. I'll make a thread.

Welcome to the Forum! I just don't do spiders, but respect the fact that you do! Of course, I'll probably have nightmares tonight after looking at your pictures, but they are very colorful - just really glad they are at your house and not mine!
