Ultrasonic Humidifier

Hi all,

Ive been going over the forums last night and today to find out if it is a good idea to have my ultrasonic humidifier on all day or not. There is a lot of conflicting information and I don't want Norman to get URI. So many interpretations. Some leave humidifiers on, some do not.

The humidity in my apartment gets down around10% during the day at Norman's basking spot, and 25% throughout the other parts of his enclosure.

Ambient temp during the day is in the apartment 75-77, and his basking spot ranges from 85-89. Nighttime I let things down to 70-69.

LAst night I put piping in place to drop the mist from the top of his cage, but not directly where he sleeps or on his basking spot. I left it on low, to see if I could get the humidity up. Am I worrying too much about the humidity? His urate is white.

I mist his cage heavily twice daily and have a drip waterer running all day.
