Ugly Male Veiled Phase

To all veiled owners did your male cham's go through a phase that make them a little darker than normal some members have told me about this but more info would be much appreciated. Haha while posting this my veiled just ate a couple of crickets oh he is about 8-9 months old healthy as can be and in a 24x24x48 cage

yeah than that tan coloration i only see nice colors when he sleeps

he kinda sounds like my veiled; poo brown during the daytime and banana yellow at night. dont worry, they always color up more as they get older.

Jasper is going through this phase right now! I was going to ask the same question... he is tan/brown all day except for night time or when he is climbing on the ceiling of his cage lol... I will post some pictures tomorrow when he is awake!

I was having this issue aswell with yogg. But I bumped the heat up on his other basking lamp and it resolved this. He doesent go tan anymore...but he is green and yellow and blue . But I understand what you mean about the ugly stage....and yess it is during puberty as there color comes in.
