Looks like someone left me a little somethin' somethin' last night!
This is not one of the recent imports, but is one of my LTC u. phantasticus females that I have had for about 1.5 years. She had been paired with a male all that time and I recently lost the male about 2 months ago. These eggs are not fertile, as she glued them to the leaves (although she still seems to be protecting them), which I have known to be common with them, u. lineatus and u. fimbriatus from my experience. If they would have been fertile, they would be little perfectly round white pea-sized eggs and she would have buried them at the base of the plant, which this particular female has done previously, although I have never been able to hatch out any of her eggs. Either they were duds or I just didn't know what I was doing.
(but I'm guessing the former....) A customer of mine here in Chicago who has purchased some of my uroplatus has managed to hatch out about 4 of these little guys and man, are they super tiny.
