two baby chams in one 24 by 24 by 48 inch cage

I read in several places that you can keep two baby panther chams in the same habitat until juvenile age. Is this correct I'm getting mixed search results. I know if there is a more aggressive cham to separate but please advise.

Babies can normally stay together until around 2 months old. IMO a 48 high it too large for a baby.
