Two 5.0 UVB lights

Is having two 5.0 uvb lights in a chameleon enclosure good for them?? Or should I replace one of them with a red basking light i learned awhile back that red basking lights aren’t really good for them so I’m just kinda confused on what i should do ): i hope this makes sense

Do you not have a basking light now? I would use a regular household bulb instead of a red light. Also those coil uvb lights are no good. You should get a linear tube uvb light instead

Yeah the coil uvb is only temporaryuntil I get paid. But I had no ideayou could use just a normalhousehold light bulb as a baskinglight they’re not dangerous for the Cham or anything??

you need a basking bulb 100% even if your room temp is high chams like to bask and it helps them digest food. if food isnt digested, it literally rots inside reptiles.

You should also put space between the screen and the light. I know my Argo likes to climb on the screen and ive seen more than enough posts about burnt chameleons.

In my area incidents are banned and i dont know if that is the case for you or not but most pet stores do have white heat/basking bulbs. I believe its called white daylight.
