I have two cat cups for sale to be picked up at the Sacramento reptile show on Saturday. Each cup has enough food to raise the cats to adult butterflies (2-4 weeks depending on temp,) filter paper for them to pupate on, and a care sheet. There are 8 cats per cup. The butterflies will need an area to dry out their wings on (and a screen cage would be perfect for that) before they can fly.
They are an awesome insect to raise for children to experience their life cycle and you can produce some eggs of your own with your adult butterflies as long as you can find a host plant for the adults to lay on.
Again, 8 cats per cup. Each cup is $10 dollars. Up to 3 additional larva can be purchased in individual portion cups for $1.50 each.
