Twinky poop?

Ok so white urate is good, creamy urate means he really likes caterpillars, orange urate means dehydrated. Well my last 2 poops were twinkies. Yellowish orange on the outside and white in the middle...

He gets 10min of misting total during the day (2/3 gallon) and room humidity is at 40%.

what is your misting schedual? Are you doing it through the day or all at once? What would you say would be the orange/white ratio there.. I'd say since there is white, he's not dehydrated yet, but is slowly starting to become hydrated. sort of like super orange urine for humans is dehydrated, clear urine is hydrated, and yellowish is meh you could drink more but not dehydrated.. best I can do for you.

Edit: Wait.. is the fecal part a twinkie, or the urate..just to clarify, if the fecal is a twinkie.. then I'd suggest getting a parasite check, or check your gutload..

Nope fecal is fine, its the urate twinky.

misting is though out the day. 5 min in morning, 5 min at noon, and then about 3 other 10 second mistings during the day.

the 5 minute ones seem pretty good, I'd say increase the small 10 second misting to maybe a minute or 2, that's if it's the start of dehydration and not another issue. Room humidity is 40% but what's the enclosure at?

Seems like a nice set-up to me, I'm not sure what else I can tell you information wise, if anything maybe try a more juicy feeder? Something that may bump his hydration up a bit. Nice juicy horn worm or something like that.

sorry, just got a little confused after reading this, whats the difference between fecals and urates? Sorry I'm a noob :)

I really like the cage setup too!

fecal is the brown "poo". Urate is the white "pee".
If you are new to the board you will quickly realize that pictures of poo are not uncommon, and sometimes celebrated.

I need to get spring here so the mulberry trees will start. i got about 400 silk worm eggs in the fridge. I might have to break down and buy some horn worm cups, but its so cold right now im not sure if they will make it in shipping.

My panther had a urate that sounds similar to what you saw. It was white in the middle and very orange on the ends. It was this one and only time. I attributed it to him being constipated. He went a few days without pooping which is not normal for him and then had that urate.
