Hi all,

I have a pair of Jackson's Chameleons i keep them in a separate Flexarium 38 each (16.5"x16.5"x30") my question is I am using two T5 lights above the enclosures with a reflector. In the top of the enclosure under the lights the temp reaches around 78-82 down to wards the bottom its in high 60's low 70's do i need to add a basking light?

You don't exactly need a baskin' light, but if you want one, try to get the temps around 75 degrees to the max of 85 degrees at the bottom of the flexarium for jacksons chameleons. :D

You can use a household bulb - 15,25,40 or maybe 60 watt soft white incandescent household bulb to get the temperatures higher than 74 and less than 86 degrees. Test them all out. A 40 will probably be best. You can also use a house hold fixture lamp that can shine on the bottom of the flexarium. You don't really have to buy anything.
