Trogdor drinking from a syringe

Poor guy has had a rough week. He had a scary trip to the vet. He had to take some meds. The meds made him lose his appetite.

Well i've been worried that he hasn't been getting enough water, so i took a new syringe and took advantage of his aggression.

Hope it's OK to do this. i'm not squirting anything it's just drop by drop and he actually brightened up. He has been gray for days now.

I shot it on my iPhone which isn't the best quality then youtube took it and made it horrible.

Cool! Glad you got him to drink something. That's how I used to get Lily to drink. Just don't be tempted to squirt some in his mouth when he gapes at you. The syringes are really difficult to squirt slowly aren't they?! Lily had a face full a couple of times, lol! It seems to squirt suddenly when nearly empty.

That's more or less how Thaxter gets his daily dose of liquid (prescription) calcium supplement (except I'm not quite so slow and gentle; usually he gets mad at the syringe and bites down on it, and I can squirt the calcium in all at once. Then he tilts his head back - which leads to him swallowing it - then he gets some sort of treat to remind him that life's not all bad).

I get my chams drink the same way- only instead of syringe I use eye-dropper so it goes also drop by drop. And I know how much water my chammy gets. These things are very useful :D
