Trioceros laterispinis

To stay on topic,i got a specal permision of using some pictures of laterispinis in the wild taken by Michele Menegon a special thank to him!
On the pictures you see how amazing the camouflage is that these animals have with their habitat.
Enjoy!
Kind regards
Jurgen

WOW. Congratulations on your success with these guys. I hope you'll find homes that will appreciate them. Very excited for you. I'm a new fan of T.laterispinis. :D

Thank you,
Babys are just like you see very tiny and fragile.
From the 14 i lost 2,the other 12 are doing fine.
For keeping and breeding this species its very close to keeping jacksoni merumontanus, cool temperatures and a sharp drop at night.
Are there breeders of this species in the US?
In Europe this is one of the rarest and most wanted chameleons there are.
Prices go higer than parsonii for a pair, outside my i just now one German breeder,i work with him for a breeding project and switch some bloodlines.
Situation in nature is very bad for this species, lots of habitat is destroit and they are listed as vulnerable so its not looking good for these guys.
Lets hope the get well protected and a good breedingroup will come in the future.
Here some pictures of juveniels born in februari and the mother of the babys.
Enjoy;)
