Trioceros ellioti (FINALLY!)

I finally got around to taking a few pictures of my elliot. I believe they are about 1 and a half months old. They are doing really great, one of them seems to have a few broken limbs, I have no idea how he got them, but in addition to uvb and extra calcium I take them outside pretty regularly. Anyways, here they are, enjoy!

EDIT: This post contains one baby, the next post will contain the other.

Nice! Don't seem to see very many of these guys in posts. Could the keepers of this species have a underground sub forum club?

Very cool, Danny!

Any idea what the broken limb could have been from? Unfortunately things happen, I doubt it was your fault. Hope the little guy is ok.

Seems to be a lot of those forums lately, but they aren't very big since they are so picky and tend to be one big clique!

Possibly:p I have a few adults and two groups of babies. Lost some of the babies at first but the rest seem to be doing strong. Just havent got around to taking any pics of the troop lately.

They look good Danny. Sucks about the one with broken limbs but I am sure they will heal fine. One thing I noticed with them and the baby tavetana is feeding too much cricket crack (montane mix) can cause some edema around the neck. If you notice this back off a bit on it. I use it for babies around 2 or 3 times a week instead of always leaving some in the feeder bins after I figured out what seemed to be the problem.

Thanks Steve, If theres some sort of clique I dont know why I wasn't invited :( lol.

Sabrina, I dont know how it happened, Im almost positive it had nothing to do with me because I never handle them, hes had it for about 2 weeks now, so Im not terribly worried.

Thanks, thats good to know, I dont feed cricket crack to pinheads, but I was considering it. I feed them spirulina and some powdered milk/ pollen.

Those are great Danny. I can see why you were excited to have them again. I am sure you will do great with them since you are so careful that you keep all living conditions near perfect. congrats and enjoy!!!:D:D

Thanks Laurie! I actually picked these guys up in Daytona :)

Whoa!
Either I'm named after a chameleon, or a chameleon is named after me!
I prefer the latter. :p:D
Great lookin' guys!!!
