Trioceros deremensis sex question

Hello,
I am new to this forum, just joined last week. I apologize, I haven't gotten around to making a formal "Hello" post yet, soon to come. I recently aquired 1.0.1 of Trioceros deremensis. I am wondering for those of you who have bred this species in the past, at what age can you sex these guys. Are they like the Trioceros jacksonii xantholophus were you can pretty much tell right away or do you need to wait for them to mature a bit.

I don't know anyone that is active that has this species... But I know Bill Strand has had them or has them... I will tag him here. @DeremensisBlue

You can sex them very early. Though that is a very well along female. Deremensis grow slowly. I am going throw the wild guess that that individual is around one year old. But that is a female.

Where are you located Europe? I have not seen that species in North American for a while. Tanzania was closed to export.

Trioceros deremensis is a great species to keep in captivity. Congratulations about picking up a female.

Any of you know what other Tanzania chameleon species Snakes at Sunset has? Or was it just the Trioceros deremensis. This is interesting news that Tanzania is possibly reopening business to some exports.

Last I checked just deremensis. They were european CB imports. Last I heard, Tanzania voted in February on weather to open again and decided to remain closed.

Well, your male isn't in breeding mode! Their lips turn reddish when they are.

Thanks @Motherlode Chameleon , I'm excited. Tanzania is undoubtedly one of my favorite counties, especially in terms of bio diversity. So any chance for anything from Tanzania I pounce on it. Thanks to everyone for their response
