Here are a couple of pictures of my male cristatus.
He has been here for 2 months now and acclimation is going well.
He is hand feeding and seems to be quite comfortable in his enclosure.
He does have a bit of gular edema that has just showed up in the last couple of days.
I don't dust his food at all. He is eating mostly adult crickets and has been eating one or two (sometimes 3) every day.
He is getting enough water ... urates are nice and white.
Am I over feeding him?
It has to be the gut load?
Montane keepers advise.
I am going to keep a group of crickets separate with a fresh greens gut load for him and see if that clears up the edema.
Otherwise ... doing quite well!
