Is it considered a type of montane similair to pygmies? I mean I know they are closely related to Jackson's considered the trioceros species name... but I am quite surprised on how small they are and that they don't have the horns? They don't developed them right?

Hi Andee, yes they are a Montane species, smaller breed than Jackson's more closer to Sternfeldi except lacking color, also known a two striped chameleon.
