I think recent discussions here reflect some of what this paper talks about. I will kindly ask you to remove the subject material used in the paper and place differing opinions about chameleons and their care in its place because I know the topics they discuss are even more divisive than foggers
The issues they discuss in the paper don’t matter. But they do reflect how humans respond to things that challenge them and ways to possibly mitigate that to where it doesn’t cause complete division and a lack of discussion
As @DeremensisBlue says frequently, “be excellent to each other”. It’s a great place to start these discussions because otherwise intelligent, earnest efforts by a variety of very experienced individuals will just wander off to their echo chambers and progress will be slowed dramatically. We need to be better humans so that we can advance the care of these amazing little creatures
And to finish honest Abe’s quote from the movie. “PARTY ON DUDES!”
