Tree-plant help

two good starts are ficus or schefflera (arboricola). you should be able to find some descent sizes at the big box hardware stores for 30-50.

Ficus and arbicola are good. Schefflera actinophylla or umbrela tree is another good one available at big box stores sometimes. It's less compact with bigger leaves then arbicola. My veiled devours the new growth on his.

I think you might be getting your schefflera types a lil mixed up. actinophylla is the larger of the schefflera's (can grow up to 30+ feet), and is generally not recommended for chameleons. considered to be toxic.

Arbicola is the smaller version, and includes the veriegated versions that are very common at the big box hardware stores.

I have both scheffleras, umbrella and dwarf. My large veiled eats all new growth on umbrella with no side effects. Sources online say toxic and others say safe.

If he would eat less of it terrarium would look better :)
