Tough Stretch...

Well, I don't know about the rest of you, but I think this has been a real hard few weeks for our forum family. Many of our most admired keepers and some of our new friends have been going through the worst experiences. It makes me question everything I am doing! I keep looking in at Zaphod and wondering "Is he eating enough? Are my temps good? Are his feeders healthy? What's that on his skin?" Its enough to drive us nuts!
First off, my thoughts and prayers are with those who are going through tough times. Second, we will miss our forum friends who have passed and leave us with memories. Thirdly, thanks to all of you who are helping every time a question arises.
Here's to an end to this tough stretch and healing for those who grieve.

I only have one cham as well. I don't know how some of these people cope aith more than one. Some of them even have human children to worry about. Thankk god the humans don't drop as often and as suddenly as the chams anymore. Hopefully with all the experienced people on here who help all the time we can put an end to most of the chams who die too young as well.

What a great thread - I agree that it seems like problems seem to be going around lately. I used to think that bad things come in 3's, but it seems that with our forum family that multiple is a lot higher :( Hopefully everyone gets a string of much better luck soon!

It's true, it seems like some bad Juju is going around lately :(

I worry too, I sit and watch Kuzco and think "Is he growing properly, does he eat enough, how's he drinking, what's on his mouth!?" It's enough to sit wringing your hands and grow white hair over!!!

My prayers and thoughts go out to all those forums members who are going through a tough time, and to all the little friends we have lost this year :(

I agree! It's so sad. I lost my first cham after only having him 10 days bc he was just too young. I am constantly worrying over the one I have now! Although he seems to be doing very well, I STILL fret over how much he eats and his poop and hydration. Then I see all of these great keepers losing their little ones so suddenly for no known reason and it just makes me so sad and scared! My thoughts are with everyone who has lost a little one! I just hope they stay on here even if they don't have a cham at the moment! I hope they stay part of our group!
