Took Echo outside

Not sure if this is the right place to ask but...I took Echo, my veiled cham, outside like I have done a few times before. I put him on the grass because he loves to walk on it lol, but and I'm not sure what happened, but he attacked a dried up leaf from one of ours trees outside, he didn't get all of it because I was watching him and took the rest of it away. I'll post pics of Echo and the type of leaf when I can. He has never done this before and has never eaten anything but crickets and meal worms ( I know they aren't the best so he doesn't get them often and not very many either). I am just wondering if I should be worried or not, any help would be great :)
Thanks

Well, veileds can be part vegetarian. Are you sure he wasn't just getting a light snack? :D At the very least, as long as the leaf isn't poisonous, you have nothing to worry about. Although maybe he might be interested in getting some greens added to his diet. Have you ever tried wiggling any healthy veggies/fruit for him?

After he attacked this leaf I got out some romaine lettuce and tore a couple pieces off and put him down, he didn't touch them...actually he has never touched any greens I've given him yet. I'm thinking about getting some plants to leave outside and in my house and let him check them out. I know he is going to need a bigger cage soon so I want to wait to put plants in his encloser until I get a bigger set up.
Another question how can Iupload my pics? I'm still new to this forum :)

Mine wouldn't eat them either if they were still, but if I took a bit of lettuce and rubbed an end between two fingers so it looks like it's "fluttering" I could usually get my veiled's attention and she'd go for it. But not very often, she was always more of a Hibiscus fan than anything else. So yours may go for hibiscus flowers if he's on a plant.

I use a hosting site like imageshack.com, which gives me the codes. Then I just copy and paste the codes into my response and it works just fine. Others attach photos to the thread, I think if you go to "advanced" under your reply box you can scroll down the page and there will be a section to upload images from your computer.
