Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - The species, sex, and age of your chameleon. How long has it been in your care?
**Jackson Chameleon, male, unknown age (assume young adult). We have had since late December. The breeder we purchased then from never would give me an answer as to age.
Handling - How often do you handle your chameleon?
**We generally only have touch contact once or twice a week.
Feeding - What are you feeding your cham? What amount? What is the schedule? How are you gut-loading your feeders?
**We feed live crickets bought from pet store, and occasional mealworms (also bought at pet store --Timberline brand). We give our two Jacksonsons a dozen crickets a week. We put the live crickets in the cage dusted with vitamins, in the cage and allow the chameleons to hunt.
Supplements - What brand and type of calcium and vitamin products are you dusting your feeders with and what is the schedule?
** Zoo Meds- Repti-Calcium, and Rep-Cal... Herptivite w/ beta carotene advanced formultion multivitamins
Watering - What kind of watering technique do you use? How often and how long to you mist? Do you see your chameleon drinking?
**We mist our chameleons three times daily with purified water with Zoo-med"s Reptisafe instant terrarium water conditioner. We see them licking the leaves of the plants in the enclosure.
Fecal Description - Briefly note colors and consistency from recent droppings. Has this chameleon ever been tested for parasites?
** Stools have been mostly black in color and oval shaped. occasional white stools after mealworm feedings. We have not had chameleons tested for anything since we got them.
History - Any previous information about your cham that might be useful to others when trying to help you.
** Our chameleons have shared an enclosure since before we got them., once we beleive that they mated and upon the advise of more experienced owners, we seperated them.

** screen 25" x 25" x25"
Lighting - What brand, model, and types of lighting are you using? What is your daily lighting schedule?
** Zoo med dual light system, 10-12 hrs day light, 10-12 hrs red night light.
Temperature - What temp range have you created (cage floor to basking spot)? Lowest overnight temp? How do you measure these temps?
** 72-80 degrees, we have constant thermometer and hydrometer in enclosures.
Humidity - What are your humidity levels? How are you creating and maintaining these levels? What do you use to measure humidity?
** humidity stays at aprox 80%
Plants - Are you using live plants? If so, what kind?
We are using only artificial plants
Placement - Where is your cage located? Is it near any fans, air vents, or high traffic areas? At what height is the top of the cage relative to your room floor?
** cage is located in a low traffic area, opposite the room from air vents. The cage top is 36" aproximately from floor.
Location - Where are you geographically located?
** We live in Jacksonville, FL
