Too soon to upgrade Jackson's cage size?

I have a 3 month old Jackson's chameleon currently in a custom-made 10"x10"x18" screened enclosure with a Pothos plant and some silk vines. He's been in it since soon after I adopted him (slightly under a week old).

I originally purchased an 18"x18"x36" Reptibreeze screened enclosure but it was too big for him and I worried that he couldn't properly find food. Now that he's older I'm considering switching him back over to the larger enclosure. He's eating well out of a feeding cup and has no trouble getting to crickets that are loose in the small enclosure.

I have a Dracaena in organic potting soil (covered with river rocks) that I sprayed down with soapy water then rinsed. I'm also running some silk plants and a bend-a-branch around the enclosure to provide more pathways for him to cruise around on. I have a Mistking on the way....I plan on mounting one nozzle in the enclosure and building a raindome out of a second one.

I know this was a bit long winded...but basically, is there any detriment to moving him on to his full-sized cage now? Are there any issues I should watch out for?

I had mine in an 18inch high, deep and wide cage for two months. i then moved him to a screen cage that is 25 inches high and 14 inches long and deep. he loves it in there. He is about 4 months. He seems to be doing much better. Shame you dont have an inbetween cage for him.
