Too fat or just growing?

Hi, I've got a 5 months old panther Cham and I was wondering how much are they supposed to eat at this age? He is on medium/small crickets and small locust. He eats around 10 locust a day + 5-7 crickets every other day. Ocasionally he will also get a wax worm but that's rare cuz I know they are quite fattening. Is it normal for him to eat so much?
+ how can I get him to eat mealworms? He won't touch them when I leave them in the tub for him. I want him to have varieties diet

It's normal for juveniles and babies to eat a lot. They're growing. Adults usually eat every other day or small amounts every day.

Here's my 2 cents worth from what I've learned from others. I think you are doing just fine with the amounts you are giving him for the time being. Feedings every day are acceptable up to the age of about 1 to 1.5 years. Then you can go to every other day and probably about 1/2 the amount of what you are currently feeding.

I don't have any advice on the mealworms. My 9 month old Nosy Be won't look at them either. Keep trying on the variety. You'll eventually find to combo's that he likes.
