Too cold?

I noticed my veiled cham's cage was pretty cold this morning. The temp dipped down pretty low last night.

His lights have been on for about 3 hours now, and right now his basking is just under 80, and his ambient temp could be lower than 60! (My temp gauge doesn't go any lower than that).

The two ideas I have is to:

- Up the wattage in his heat lamp
- Put a humidifier next to the cage that gives off warm vapor.

I'm not sure if the humidifier will be ok or not.

My breeder told me that a warm mist humidifier was just a breeding ground for bacteria and out in the garbage it went.
