Tongue issues

I got my new girl Jill last Thursday, and she shot a little crooked this morning. I saw her climbing up a vine and she was trying to get real close to a cricket. She was on her back two legs trying to get as close as she could to the cricket in the top left, front corner of the cage. I put my finger under her chest and lifted her up a little and when she shot her retract had a curve to the right, from her point of view. And she chewed the cricket up kinda weird to.

Since no one has yet to help me:

Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - Jill is a Blue barred ambilobe panther, female, I've guessed almost 3 months. they got them in a few weeks after they were hatched at the end of june. I've had her since last thrusday.
Handling - I've handled her 3 times so far. Once putting her in for the first time and on the car ride home (she refused to stay in her cup on a branch I put in there, she ran around my hand looking out the window the whole ride back, she quite enjoyed it), once when I let her get some sun in my screened window on a plant, and just this morning when I lifted her up to get the cricket)
Feeding - Feeding her 3 week old crickets, about 1/4 of an inch. I fill up the bottom of a cup and dump them in there. Its plenty. I feed her about 15 minutes after lights on at around 7. gut loaded with fresh fruits, greens, and sweet potatoes. (been waiting on my order of cricket crack for 2 weeks now from tiki tiki reptile's -.-)
Supplements - Reg calcium w/o d3 every other day on all feeders for that day. Havent given special vit's yet since idk when the pet store last gave em. Don't wana d3 overdose on this lil of a cham.
Watering - Mist king, hand mists, and dripper. Mist king for 1 minute each at 7, 11, 2 ,& 4. Seen her drink numerous times.
Fecal Description - Not tested yet and soft brown with white urates.
History - Bought from pet store that carries veiled's and a recent shipment of panthers. She wasn't the healthiest looking of them all, but she was super friendly and she reached out to me when I chose her out. I felt bad for her and decided to take her in.

Cage Info:
Cage Type - Exo terra 16x16x20. All screen besides glass door. Have sheet of plastic on one side so she cant see my adult male veiled.
Lighting - 5.0 compact uvb, 60 watt incadesent, raised a good 2 1/2 inches off the cage and her basking spot is about 6 inches away from the lamp all together. 6:30 on 7:00 off. Following sun schedule
Temperature - 86 basking spot, other parts of cage are around room temp, 76. It got down to 62 in my room one night because I had my window open and it very unexpectedly dropped down to 45. temps measured with thermo gun.
Humidity - never seen the humidity under 40 (besides at night), usually around 60-70. using a humidifier (cleaned out periodically). Hydrometer, not very accurate. Need to get a digital : /
Plants - None yet, working on getting a small tall plant that's relatively skinny to stick in between a big open part of foliage. All fake plants as of right now.
Placement - On my desk, next to a couple windows in my room. Ceiling fan, not in line of any vents. Only my brother's ever come in there besides me. Basking spot is a lil low, maybe around 5 feet off the ground. working on something to elevate it.
Location - Western Kentucky

Current Problem - Right above this ^^^^^

Worrying yourself spoils the fun :) Its perfectly normal for the tongue to contort to any position to deem safe retraction. Enjoy your new little one.
