Help!!!! My veiled cham, Jim the Lizard King's, tongue is sticking out. It looks as if he's choking on it or vomiting it. Otherwise, it just hangs out of his mouth. This happened about a week ago. His tongue went back in and he was eating. Does antone know what is going on with him??

If they miss, they may strain the tongue. It will be red and swollen for a few days. As long as he can retract it there is still hope. On the extreme cases they can not retract, and you have to keep the tongue moist on a paper towel till they can bring it back into their mouth.
