Tongue issue?

Hi Ignore the rude, unhelpful people and concentrate on those with helpful advice.
Im hoping the tongue is just not noticable to you, and that there's nothing wrong. If he's pooping, he's eating, so that's good news even if he isnt using his tongue to do so. I deeper bowl, one that you are absolutely certain crickets wont escape from, will help you count what he eats. Or switch to larva that dont climb for a couple days, if that helps.
Is the bug bread your primary gutload? I wouldnt recommend that. Fresh fruits and veggies are important. The bug bread, if its the one I posted about, should be a distant third - a complimentary addition to your other gutloading items.

I have been using a deeper bowl, but there's always those that somehow manage to jump out, it is very frustrating.
I will be getting silkworms later this week but as far as I know he has never touched anything that does not move much, they are never gone from the bowl.
No of course I offer carrots and sweet potatoes, along with a small portion of the bread.
It molds quickly so I only offer small sugar-cube sized pieces, if that. They enjoy that then go to the vegetables.
