I put a mirror on the floor so Tommy could see himself! He reacted instantly and started puffing up and flicking his tail in and out! Then the silly boy walked round behind the mirror to look for the big bad chameleon! The pics are a bit blurry as the battery ran out in my best camera and I had to use my old one.

A rival!!!

Let me at him! I know he's here somewhere!

Thanks everyone! He really is such a joy, bless him! I love him to bits! Jann - everywhere he can see himself he starts showing off! We have a stainless steel light fitting in the kitechen ceiling and if I stand under it he'll see himself in there and start displaying!

Oh, Tommy! I think it shows some real intelligence to go looking for the other chameleon behind the mirror. Thaxter never cared one way or the other about mirrors; Lloyd has not yet had the experience.

Beautiful cham. My veiled was a bully. He used to beat up the other males in with him. Very smart of Tommy to go looking!

He's beautiful! Pan tries to climb onto the mirror when he sees it. One time I took him to see a male (well, more so I could see the males colors because I was thinking about purchasing him) and he tried to climb onto the males cage while the other male started getting super flat and hissy.
