Just how cool of ambient temps can montane species comfortably thrive in?
I moved my jack groups. The ambient ROOM temp is about 65 F, this temp is rather constant and does not fluctuate greatly.
Cage day temps- the lower levels of their cages are sitting around 65, the higher levels read around 68-75, with a basking spot of 85+.
These temps seem to be pretty good, but a mid cage ambient of 65+ is just crazy. I guess it is a hard switch when you get boas, pythons, and uro's your whole life!
