Tolerable ambient lows?

Just how cool of ambient temps can montane species comfortably thrive in?
I moved my jack groups. The ambient ROOM temp is about 65 F, this temp is rather constant and does not fluctuate greatly.

Cage day temps- the lower levels of their cages are sitting around 65, the higher levels read around 68-75, with a basking spot of 85+.

These temps seem to be pretty good, but a mid cage ambient of 65+ is just crazy. I guess it is a hard switch when you get boas, pythons, and uro's your whole life!

I don't think your room temps or lower cage temps are a problem at all.
I will say that the basking spot might be a drop too hot for them, but as long as they have plenty of humidity (85%-95%) they will be fine.

Thanks for the input.

Their body temps are reading around 70-75 with a temp gun.

I can see K. fischeri doing even better at these temps.

I just cannot get comfortable with reptiles at 65-70 ambient!

Broke down and went a tossed together a mini cham room. I should be good now to do a few more montanes. The "mini room" sits around the mid 70's during the day and will drop to the mid 60's to mid 50's depending on what I want it to do. With an ultrasonic humidifier, the room will stay as moist as I want it to. Vents allow for good air circulation.

After monitering the temps for a week or so, I will order in some fischers or something else similar.

Thanks for the help guys!

Oh yes, the mini room. I will have to post some photos later. It's basically a styrofoam shed in an unfinished basement. Its working perfectly, but probably sounds half ass, it does look rather clean.
