Today's Trioceros Pics

Yesterday I posted some pics of a few panthers so today I'm posting some of the Trioceros critters. I asked them all to smile pretty for the camera but the results were rather mixed. F001 did, though.

When I asked this guy, all I got in response was, "Hisssssssssss I'll kill you!"

I tried to take some candid shots of Janet Jacksonii.

Here she is, thinking I may be a little too much in her bubble:

None of the pictures of M001 turned out all that great. I thought this was ok because of the water droplet on his horn.

Absolutely certain I'm far too into his bubble.

I promise I haven't been sitting here waiting for your photos for 24 hours (editing a project on the Mac all day).

They look great, Kent. Looks like the female just shed?

How is Janet behaving around the male these days?

Cheers!

Hi Kent,
Your deremensis look great. The female is cute with out any horns, although I think she needs a real name. :) The others look great too with all this CA sunshine.

Uh, huh. Sure. Thanks for the compliments. They both shed about a day apart. They both still have a few little fragments left on them. As for Janet, I didn't put them together today. The last time I tried she was rocking at him like crazy. He didn't get it and approached her anyway. That's when she grabbed a couple handfulls of horn and gave his head a real good shakin! She doesn't want ANYTHING to do with any males, me or him!

Tylene, my mom just got a 3-in-1 scanner/printer that I'm planning on using the next time I go out there. I haven't forgotten the article for you!

Kent you sure have a nice collection. Just how many chams and how many types do you have? You also post nice pictures.:)

They all look great Kent!! Gotta love the shy ones:) The melleri on the other hand looks like he has a touch of fight or flight syndrome, with no flight. He looks like a fun one:D

LOL. Indeed. I'm actually surprised I didn't get bitten because as I was holding him he kept swinging down and head-butting my hand with open mouth. He nasty!

Laurie, I believe I've got somewhere in the neighborhood of 25 chams. Most are the panthers but I do also have a few other species of true chameleons. Some day I may branch out to pygmys.

Nice photos Kent, Fans of Trioceros , or is it Freaks? What type of Jacksonii?

Love them :)

Always love your photos. Always jealous of the outdoor settings too. I'm very partial to Melleri in general, so of course I love that picture of yours. I love the "I'm going to kill you" attitude :p Enjoyed your story of Janet's method of handling the boys too.
