Thanks for the complements, the first is a wc Ambilobe, the second guy came in with a shipment of wc Tamataves this past year (he doesn't look typical but he has some intense colors).

very nice chameleons, how old is the 1st?
 
Yea a common misconception is that Sambavas are the only panthers with U bars. I have found that most chameleons that have red barring in general can have a Uish bar. Look at a lot of the red bar Ambilobes...they normally have a Uish bar with a small line that is not directly in the center of the U (clearly there are exceptions and you see a good Y bar red bar but rarely), very different than their blue bar neighbors that have a good Y bar with the bottom line almost dead center making the Y.
