Today getting my panther

Hey guys.

Please post what should i check when getting my cham.
What are these signs that tell that something is not good with the cham!

Where are you getting it from? What kind of Chameleon? What will you be housing it in?

Housing is made. All is clear - i have been here for a while. Learning how to manage it. So only question is what to look for to get healthy cham. I am getting it here localy - from the only pet shop who has them.

just make sure it is active and always looking around it should be able to hold its own weight up and walk good. It should never be on the ground just sittingg unless it is a gravid female

Also, make sure that eyes are not closed.

Arms/legs should be straight, not bendy or having "joints" in the wrong places.

both Eyes open, alert, NOT sunken

Tail straight, complete and sufficiently thick but not fat

Toes should each have nails

Should not rest itself on branches, but rather hold its body up.

No sign of rot inside the mouth

Good weight
