To get or not to get?

I've seen some lovely Ambanja Panthers for sale. Really want to get one! They had a good start and going to be absolute stunners! And they guy is selling them for just £60 per head. I wasn't planing on getting a Panther, but they are so beautiful!
The problem is that my boyfriend started moaning at me for "having a zoo". I'm getting a bearded dragon on Monday and already have 2 chams. I will have to spend another £120 for the setup. I can afford it, it's not really an issue.
My boyfriend says I'm impulsive and I won't have time to look after them all and blah-blah-blah.. He feeds my babies when I'm at work, so it's been good so far.
I really want this beautiful blue baby! Cant... resit!

Tell me people, is there a big difference between looking after 2 and 4 creatures? Or somebody say something so I don't get him, cause I'm dying to buy one of those wee dudes!
There is a link, you can see them. They are sooo pretty!

My rule is one baby at a time. If all your crew are adults and doing fine, whats one more mouth to feed if you got it down :)

Ive only screwed up when getting more than about one a year. Its all fun till one gets sick or is "special needs" then you start getting burned out, and dont notice the rest of the crew. The neglect could lead you to miss something easily treatable.

On the other hand i dont see it being more expensive or time consuming feeding multi lizards vs feeding one or 2, if you got a routine. got 500 crickets, well for 20% we will double your order, 30% will get you 2000 crickets.

Thanks!
One of my chams is sick, and I'm doing everything I can. I can't really imagine myself neglecting any of my animals, but maybe what you say is sensible. Still really want one of those panthers
