For all of you who followed TJ and I to the vet here is the outcome. The vet is wonderful, keeps nosy be's and know chameleons. He took Tj examined his very gently but well. Checked his tummy, his mouth, his general health and complemented me on TJ's care said he seemed fine, no uri,mbd or anything else he could see. While the vet was holding TJ he started changing colors. I pretty much grabbed him from the vet, and we both watched him die. When you could see he was going but still in pain the vet gave him the shot.
We talked about it afterwards, he said all my care was spot on, feeding, lights, supplementing, enclosure. He did not seem dehydrated, or anything we could see. He was amazed I knew there was a problem as he could not detect anything wrong. He said that shows how well I know my chams and how closely I monitor them.
Even with all that my precious baby is dead.
