Tips for a first bioactive enclosure?

Everyone,

Hello! I am looking to set up a bioactive enclosure for when I get a panther chameleon. I've never done anything with bioactive terrariums or reptiles but I have lots of experience with aquascaping, aquariums, and farming. I was planning to go with the Biodude Panther Chameleon set up but after reading about them on this forum, I decided how overpriced they are. I am currently looking for an alternative. If anyone knows of a better and cheaper set up for a panther chameleon or any care / set up tips, they would be greatly appreciated. Also, any pics of your bioactive enclosures would be great. Thanks in advance!

Respectfully,
Patrick

Only that they do require (more) maintenance than indicated in some of the literature; IME, some sources gloss over that. But since you've done this kind of thing with aquariums, I suspect you may know that. ;)

I haven't perused the results, but you might try searching something like:
