Thoughts on this possible skin issue

Evening All,

Thought I would get some opinions on what this may be.

Let me start by saying that it looks like a skin tag or something like that. In the pics you might think leftover shed at first, but it seems like something else.

If you look at the close ups, you can see that the scales in the area seem bunched up together for a lack of better words and the shed gets caught there.

Let me say that this 'issue' has been on her since the day I got her and when she was smaller, I just thought it was a bad shed spot. It has not gotten worse per se, but the area grows as she grows.

I will also say that she is healthy in every way. Eats, drinks, very active and alert, fecals are clean, etc…

Just wonder if anyone has seen a skin disorder like this before and any thoughts.

Thanks!

^ Same.. it really does look like it's just a hanging piece of shed. She's so beautiful. Sweet sweet face she has. :)

I can see the odd skin formation you describe, but the piece of shed blocks a clear view of it. If you remove that piece of shed maybe we could see what the skin underneath looks like. Almost looks like some sort of scar. Is this a cbb or wc cham? If cbb maybe its a congenital malformation. And, because its a bunched up odd spot it may not shed as easily. But what a beauty she is!

Thank you Carlton for the response and thoughts. The more I look at it and talk to people the more I lean towards a scar from a wound that healed over. I am going to see if that shed will come loose easily and otherwise not worry to much about it.

Thanks and any other thoughts are appreciated.
