Which is basically preventing any kind of small injury, correct?
Max is having his drained tomorrow morning! I am dropping him off before class and picking him up after. The vet is going for the "heal from the inside out" with cream and probably paired with the oral antibiotics, still.
But I wanted to hear your guys' thoughts on preventing this in the future. Honestly I don't know exactly how they come about besides there would be a small injury, let's say a cricket bite or a fall, bacteria gets into the skin, the skin closes over it, and it multiplies/grows. Is that just about it?
He had these forming (discolored patches, two of them) when I got him, but did not notice growth until weeks after he was already home. Thoughts?
