Last night I ordered some silkworms, butterworms, and hornworms (along with his favorite crickets) from Mulberry Farms. Anybody have any suggestions on how to try and get him to eat them? Last time I fed him butterworms and silkworms he would ignore them and even go on a hunger strike until I put crickets in his cage. I have never tried hornworms. I'm hoping that if I only put four or five crickets in his cage he will be hungry enough and go ahead and eat the worms. I'm open for suggestions though. I wanted to get him a good variety of food and would love if they don't go to waste.
Also, has anybody fed their chameleon the butterfly's that they sell? Painted Lady's I believe? Would you say they are more for your older chameleons? The only things I refuse to bring in the house are roaches, spiders, and any worm that resembles maggots.
