HELP ME OUT THX :D

Yes on top of the cage.
is the top glass or mesh?
if glass, the uvb rays wont pass through it.

all bulbs must be outside the cage, so the cham cant get burned.

also, i would get more foliage, viney/leafy things in there, he will need hiding spots to feel safe.

yes i will get plants etc and stuff for on the bottom..
my cham comes in april so if got the time..
in the middle top of my cage is a iron bar whit a patern..
img1475984911.jpg like thiss any sugestions?

that seems ok.

nad you dont need stuff for the bottom.

no bark, dirt. nothing.
i would either leave it bare, though as it seems like it is wood, i woudl actually suggest some reptile carpet, or something like paper towels or something that that your cham cant eat.

yes it works if its on top.

as long as it is set over mesh or wire, not glass or plastic, the uvb rays will get into the cage.

and you are very welcome!

im sorry if i came off harsh.. but when people place bulbs in the cage, it is inevitable that their chammie will get burned.

i totaly understand that mate!
i realy dont wanna make bad impressions..
just wanna learn the things that we all
have leared bout cameleons :p and im kinda
new to it.. ok then i will get another mini deep dome
from zoomed! thx thx thx!!

1)You still need plants and hiding places for your chameleon.

2)You need a water source that is not a bowl and not a waterfall either. It looks like you have a mister, that is good, but if there are no plants, the water will not collect anywhere for them to drink it! A dripper is also a good idea.

3)It looks like you have no drainage. Any water that goes in the cage has nowhere to drain out.

im getting plants.. and getting soil whit some
brown absorbastion bals under my dirt so all
over fload water gets absorbed..
yes if got a habba mister ;)
and plants will come 1 week before i buy my
chameleon in april

camimom if putted some block under my zoomed mini dome because my uvb lamp is kinda 1 cm to long to fit on the roster does it works like this?
will he get enough uvb 418169_3012387306400_1164049431_32357656_1530466236_n.jpg THX

not to doubt your knowledge but UVB bulbs dont usually get hot enough to burn. mines 13watts (5.0) and i can hold it at the end of the day with no sweat. can it go in like his has it so the basking spot for UVB is increased? i read UVB only will penetrait 12" of the cage?
personally i have not tested this but i have seen others that have and i am curious if this will work...?

this cage should have like pothos plants all along the sides i think. if you buy one plant you can get cuttings and have many plants.:) maybe some snake plants? or dwarf umbrella plants on the bottom. Just my opinion.:) love the look of this set up

i dont think it can actually cause a burn, but why risk it?

i think it does only go about 12 inches down, but it doesnt need to go to the bottom of the cage anyway.

ok ... so what to do.. get it out of the cage.. in a dome?
or let it in .. its kinda BRIGHT for the eye's me think..
or does a chameleon see's that diffrent??
